The leather is a French Calfskin which is soft and feels already broken in.

The knee blocks are attached to the fenders of the saddle in the size/shape in the picture. Fenders with no blocks are an option or regular English stirrup leathers.
The style with the larger skirt has the knee block built in for more security.
